Extended Day and Lunch Information

Dear Parents,

Monday is quickly approaching! Here are a few details that might make your week go easier:

Extended Day begins on Monday at 7am. If you have not registered for Extended Day, you will need to fill out the form before your child uses the program. That is Virginia law.  Extended Day closes at 6pm. If you want your child to have pizza, send in $3 in an envelope with his/her name on it. Please do not send playclothes (they stay in their uniforms) or electronics. They will have games and books — plenty to do!

The Lunch menu will be posted on the school website. Attached are the lunch program information, instructions, and September menu. You will receive a copy on Monday. We will send home our “Wednesday Folders” on Monday this week with lots of Back to School information about after-school activities. Lunch orders will be due on Wednesday, August 27 so we can be ready to serve hot lunches on Tuesday, Sept. 2. This week, everyone will bring lunches from home. If your child ordered milk/juice, they will receive it starting this week. It was delivered today!

We are looking forward to seeing all your children on Monday! I hope you will join us this Saturday at the Wine Tasting (7:30-9:30 in the Parish Hall) and the Ice Cream Social on Monday from 6:30-7:30. Enjoy these last days of summer. Go Nats!
