Mr. Dave Scoffone

My name is Dave Scoffone, and I am the middle school social studies teacher as well as the technology teacher for grades 3-8. I am very excited about teaching at St. Ambrose.
I grew up in Arlington, and my family attended St. Ann’s church. After graduating from James Madison University, I was hired to teach 4th grade at Linton Hall School in Bristow. After teaching at LHS for 14 wonderful years, I felt the desire to teach at the middle school level. When Mrs. Dalmut offered me the position, I jumped at the chance!
On a personal note, my wife Lara and I have been married for 3 years, and in March 2011 we welcomed our daughter Allison into our lives. We are members of the St. John Neumann Catholic Community in Reston.
