Mrs. Cynthia Thomasson

Mrs. Cindy Thomasson began her teaching career at St. Ambrose in the fall of 2007. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from Kansas State University and spent time conducting research in Microbiology before spending several years at home with her two children. She switched to teaching after spending five more years in microbiology research.

Mrs. Thomasson has found St. Ambrose to be a loving, wonderful environment in which to teach and is enjoying the new science and art room. She is pursuing studies in Secondary Education at Marymount University.

Mrs. Thomasson resides in Springfield with her husband and two children, ages 15 and 13, where they are St. Raymond of Penafort parishioners. She spends her time attending her children’s activities on the weekends and enjoys hiking, biking, gardening and any other outdoor activity.
