Carmen Briceño was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Visual Technology (2005) as well as a Masters in Education (2007). She also completed a Masters in Theology at the Notre Dame Graduate School of Christendom College in 2010.
From 2006 to 2010, Carmen worked for the Diocesan Laborer Priests in Washington, DC as their Bilingual Youth Minister Director. In August 2009, Carmen was consecrated into the Order of Virgins.* She has a great passion for missionary work and teaching the youth. Her love of missions has taken her around the world to India, El Salvador, and recently to Bánica, Dominican Republic where she spent a year serving as a missionary.
Carmen is very excited to be working at St. Ambrose Catholic School and is looking forward to a great school year.
