I was born and raised on Long Island, New York. In 1986, I graduated from Molloy College with a degree in Psychology/Elementary Education and married my husband, John. We now live in Fairfax with our three wonderful children.
This year John and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to Italy. While there, we visited the Vatican, went to Reconciliation at St. Peter’s Basilica, toured the Sistine Chapel, prayed at the tomb of Bl. John Paul II, saw a relic of the true cross of Christ and attended Mass at the tomb of one of my favorite saints of all time-St. Francis of Assisi! It was amazing for me to be in places that are so precious to our Faith and I look forward to sharing those experiences with my students.
I am currently working on a Master Catechists Certification through the Franciscan University of Steubenville. It is a wonderful opportunity and I look forward to sharing what I am learning. Catholic education has a very special place in my heart and I am thrilled to be a part of the wonderful St. Ambrose School community.
Interests include: theology, flat-water kayaking, playing Mahjong and traveling with my family
Favorite saints: Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Julian of Norwich
Life is sacramental- seek always the loving God who reveals Himself through it!
