Ms. Claire Tozzi
I am a VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) graduate with a degree in Music Education K-12, with a focus in Choral Studies. I love to sing, play guitar, and write my own music. To name a few of my musical accomplishments, I have personally recorded three demo albums, traveled to China to sing in the 2008 Pre-Olympics, and performed at local venues. I taught Music at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School in Warrenton for two years.
Teaching is my absolute passion. I thrive on the love and excitement from all things positive. My love for life and my gratefulness provided me with an endless supply of energy! I have a love for music that touches my soul and I enjoy sharing that excitement with others.
I am very excited to start my first year here at St. Ambrose and am looking forward to teaching and inspiring kids through music and God. In addition to teaching music, I will be running and in charge of our wonderfully known Extended Day Program. I currently am (2010) Serve Safe Certified, CPR/First Aid Certified, MAT Certified, DHO Certified, and attend frequent children seminars annually. I am so lucky and proud to be surrounded by such a great faculty and awesome students! Here is to love, dedication, and a blessed musical year!
“Ideal teachers are those who use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross, then having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create bridges of their own.”
