Update from Mrs. Dalmut — Communication 2014-15

Dear Parents and Teachers,

I wanted to clarify our procedures for receiving information from the school. It is vitally important that we are able to get in contact with you in case of an emergency. You should receive an email and phone call next week, which will be a TEST of our Emergency Broadcast System. Please warn your emergency contacts — we do not want to startle grandparents and neighbors! In the event of a true emergency, you will receive information at all these email addresses and phone numbers so that we can make sure you get a message wherever you are. Please reply to this email to let us know if any numbers are incorrect.

I am sending weekly Updates (sometimes twice weekly!) emails to let you know about administrative and academic news. If you are not receiving my emails at the correct addresses, please let me know. Please be as specific as possible in your email.

Please read The Buzz each week. Almost all information about student extracurricular activities, service projects, STEM activities, the PTO, and the Development Office news will be disseminated through The Buzz. In addition, we will send home flyers in Wednesday folders.  If you want to be involved in school events and activities, and be a part of our vibrant school community, The Buzz is the place to get your news! The school website has an important Signups page under the Parents tab. There is a lot of valuable information there — please take a moment to look at our school website. You will be amazed at what you’ll find!

St. Ambrose School is a very active place. We have a lot going on every week. It is important that you read the information in the Wednesday folder and check your child’s teacher’s webpage for news and homework. Thank you for your participation — our parent community makes a big difference in providing a warm and nurturing environment for our students!

God bless,

Barbara Dalmut
