Update from Mrs. Dalmut – May 18: Field Day, Principals’ Meeting at St. Ambrose, Our Students are Special

Dear Parents,
This is a wonderful week for me and my family. My son is getting married this week. Please keep us and all our traveling family and friends in your prayers!
Thursday is a Principals’ Meeting here at St. Ambrose. The Superintendent, staff of the Office of Catholic Schools, and all the principals of the diocese will be here. Many will attend our 9:00 Mass. Thanks to our Hospitality Chairs, Mary Beth Brown and Carrie Walker, who are taking care of all the hospitality! Please join us in welcoming them.
Friday is Field Day — assuming we get a few more volunteers! Please go sign up genius to help. If we don’t have enough coverage to safely and joyfully host the event, we will have to cancel. The students look forward to this all year. Please help if you can! We dismiss at 11:30 on Field Day — right after the traditional Tug-of-War between the 7th and 8th graders. If you want to see it, come to carpool a little early and join in the fun!
I have to tell you how proud I am of our students. Knighthorse Theater Company was so complimentary of their behavior and their talent. They said that they rarely ever have so many volunteers to perform, and were amazed that we have students who are so well versed in Shakespeare. Who knew?! Our kids are special:)
God bless,
Barbara Dalmut
