St. Ambrose Band 2017-18

Dear Parents,

I hope you had a great summer. I am very happy to be back and playing music together again!

Last week I was at the school and saw 4th and 5th grade for an instrument demo. I received great response from students and parents – thank you!

This Thursday at 6:30 in the gym will be the registration meeting for all band parents. From 6:30 – 6:45 I will be taking returning band parent’s registration forms. At 6:45 I will start the meeting for all new band parents. At the meeting I will talk about how the Garwood Whaley Music Program works, my background and experience with the program, and you will also be able to rent an instrument for your beginning student from Music and Arts at the meeting. Of course you will also be able to register your child for band.

If you are a returning band parent and cannot make it to the meeting, I have attached the Band Registration Contract for you to read, print, fill out, and return to school with your check by Thursday morning. I have also attached the important band dates sheet for 2017/18.
