A Friday to Remember!

Dear Parents:

What a day we have had!  Today, three classes enjoyed Super Day (Grades 1, 5 and 7) and they enjoyed a day filled with fun, food, crafts and games.  Thanks to the parents who “bought” these days from our gala auction.  Last night our 8th graders enjoyed a dinner with their families before their performance of “Much Ado About Nothing.”  It was a wonderful evening and the students were exceptional.  (Thanks to Ms. Logan for this photo.)

Today the 8th graders enjoyed a presentation of World War II weaponry by Mr. Bill Yaglou.  We are so grateful to him for doing this presentation that supports our curriculum in a very practical, hands-on way.  And this evening, a group of students will enjoy a “Library Pajama Party” with Mrs. Healy and myself!  My teddy bear is looking forward to it!

Finally congratulations to our own Ms. Mallery Holleran, who graduated from George Mason University yesterday.  We are proud of her accomplishments!
