The St. Ambrose Extended Day Program is a safe space for homework to be completed and games to be played while parents finish working for the day. All employees are fingerprinted, have completed a background check, and are CPR certified. All families are automatically registered for Extended Day when back to school forms are turned in, however, the registration fee is not processed until the program is used for the first time.

Regular Fees:
- $10 per hour for the first child
- $8 per hour for any additional children
Registration Fee:
A one-time fee of $50 will be assessed for online registration. This fee will be charged the first time your child uses the program, no matter when that initial visit occurs.
Late fees:
There will be a charge of $10 for every 15 minutes a parent is late for pick up.

- 3:10 pm-6 pm Monday through Friday
*We are closed on days that students are not in session
*We are open on almost all half days and early release days except for field day, 8th-grade graduation, and the last day of school. Please always double check the school calendar to verify.
*We will have Extended Day on days when there is a snow delay. It will always start 1 hour before school

3:00-3:15 Arrival and homework time while carpool is going on
3:15 Snack
3:30-4:30 Continued homework time and/or general indoor and outdoor play
4:30-6:00 Optional indoor stations
*students will have access to tables to do homework during Playtime if they choose not to play*playtime will take place indoors as well as outdoors depending on weather and interest

Expectations of Student Behavior

The Extended Day program is an extension of St. Ambrose School, and therefore all the policies found in the school handbook apply to students while in Extended Day. St. Ambrose School is excited to provide this service to you this year and look forward to hearing the sounds of joy-filled play coming from the gymnasium after school! The Extended Day Handbook contains important information for parents using St. Ambrose School’s before and after school program.
