Friday Message for June 1
Posted on June 4, 2018
It was wonderful to see so many of you, and your families, at the Spring concert/Art Festival last night. It was even more wonderful to witness the incredible talents of our students. Thank you to all who worked with our students and put the program together.
A few reminders: many of you picked up your Back to School packets last night – thank you. If you did not, they will be sent home with your child today. Monday is a dress down day for TEACH, an organization that supports school children in Guatemala. For a minimum donation of $1 students may dress down. Please note our dress down policy from the handbook:
Modesty is a virtue that we will use as a guideline for all attire. Students are permitted to wear more casual clothing, such as jeans, khakis, Bermuda shorts, or crop pants. Parents should monitor dress-down day clothing to ensure that students do not wear low-cut, skin-tight, or other inappropriate clothing such as spandex, sleeveless tops, spaghetti straps, or halter tops. T-shirts and sweatshirts should not have inappropriate slogans or advertising. Thank you for your attention to this.
The Book and Technology fee of $300 per student and the PTO Dues of $50 per family will be billed in FACTS on or near June 11. Their first tuition payment will be due in July.
Don’t forget, our parish is having a Corpus Christi Procession on Sunday after the 12 noon Mass. Please join us in this second annual ceremony. Students who have just made their First Communion are especially encouraged to join us, in their special First Communion outfits!
I hope that you all have a blessed weekend.
