Friday message – October 20

Dear Parents:

Now that we seem to be truly enjoying fall weather we will make the switch to winter uniform beginning next Monday, October 23.  If we run into any 80 degree plus days the students may be excused from wearing their sweaters.

Our Fun Run is approaching!  It will be held on the afternoon of Friday, November 3.  Please sign up to bring items or volunteer and make this a great afternoon for our students: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/805084dadaa2ba31-november

Trick-or-Treat at the White House!  Our school has been offered a number of tickets for students and their parents to go trick-or-treating on the South Lawn of the White House on Sunday, October 29.  We will be given a one hour time slot between 4:00-7:00 pm and various government agencies will be handing out goodies!  I will be picking up the tickets on Tuesday afternoon and we will know then what time slot we have been allotted.  Children should be 4-12 years old and each parent and child must have a ticket.  Children are encouraged to wear a costume.  If you would like a ticket for you and your child/children, please email me at principal@stambroseschool.org  – NOT the office.  Tickets will be given out on a first-come first-served basis (based on the time the email is received).  Please note that each family should arrange their own transportation.
