Friday Update – February 2

Dear Parents:

As we finish up our annual Catholic Schools Week I want to thank you for choosing St. Ambrose Catholic School for your children.  This truly was a week of celebration.

We began our day today with an assembly to launch Jump Rope for the Heart.  We had a presenter from the American Heart Association, and another special guest showed up (Does she look familiar?!!)

It was wonderful to see so many parents attend our lunch today.

Please see the attached flier regarding a service project for Martha’s Table.   Tomorrow there is the opportunity to serve our community by making sandwiches for the needy.  If your student can attend please encourage this.

Please note: due to a problem with our freezer, ice cream will not be served for the next couple of weeks.  We will let you know when this resumes.

Finally, Happy Groundhogs Day!  Punxatawney Phil may have seen his shadow (six more weeks of winter) but we have St. Medard on our side (patron saint of storms)!
