Happenings this Week

Dear Parents:
mother teaching children about Mexico
What a busy week we have had, with enjoying some year-end events.  We love when parents visit and share their talents and stories.  On Wednesday Mrs. Williams (mother of Edward and Luisa) visited 2nd grade and shared stories and facts about her native Mexico.  The children learned a lot – and were also able to answer many of Mrs. Williams’s questions!
Dads serving muffins and drinks
On Thursday the Kindergarten enjoyed their annual Muffins with Moms.  The day started with the Moms joining us at our school Mass, and then enjoying a story and delicious muffins.

Thanks to the Dads for serving the Moms and students!
Astronaut talking with students
Today, the Kindergarten class welcomed astronaut Bill Readdy to their classroom.  Mr. Readdy shared videos and stories about his flights to the Space Station, and brought a delicious breakfast for the class to share.

Thank you to all parents and members of the community who take time to enrich the education of our students.

Congratulations to our 2nd graders, and those of our parish, who will make their First Holy Communion tomorrow.  May it be the first of many Communions with Christ throughout their lives.

On behalf of the school community I would like to wish all of our Mothers a very blessed and enjoyable Mothers Day on Sunday.  I offer prayers through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother for you all.
