Español 6 Class information

Para viernes, el 17 de enero:

  1. Correct your test on loose leaf and staple to test.
  2. Ask a parent/guardian to sign your test
  3. Make  flashcards and study vocabulario T. p. 83

  1. Final copy of penpal letter due on Wednesday

Para miércoles, el 8 de enero:

  1. Study for the culture portion of your test.  Use C. p. 21-23 to help.
  2. Think about how you will write a penpal letter to a student in Guatemala

Para viernes, el 20 de diciembre:

Prepare for writing and speaking part of test on Friday.

  1. Writing: Write and email to a penpal, introduce yourself. Say where you are from. Write about what you like and do not like to do at school, after school, on the weekends, and with friends.
  2. Speaking: Look at pictures and tell what the people like to do.
  3. Culture and reading comprehension test will be on Wed. Jan 8th

Para miércoles, el 18 de diciembre:

  1. Prepare for the listening, vocabulary and grammar sections of the test on Wednesday, Dec 18
  2. Use the two review packets to help you study
  3. Writing and speaking portions of the test will be on Friday

  1. Prepare for Test Part 2: reading, writing and speaking
  2. Writing: Write a note to a new student. Use a proper greeting. Ask how he/she is doing. Tell where you are from. Ask where he is from. Give your phone number and ask for his/her phone number.
  3. Speaking: Greet your teacher and introduce yourself. Give your name, where you are from, what the weather is like and your phone number.

Para viernes, el 6 de septiembre:

  1. Log onto the Spanish textbook website (my.hrw.com) with the username and temporary password you received in class today.
  2. Change the password.
  3. Write your username and password in your agenda, on the back of your class information page, on the index card you received today and on an index card to leave at home.  You must have this information at home!
  4. Look around the website and become familiar with how to access the book pages and students tools.

Para miércoles, el 5 de septiembre:

  1. Cover your textbook.
  2. Organize your binder (1. Oraciones  2. Apuntes  3. Vocabulario  4. Gramática  5. Cultura)
  3. Make a cover for your binder. Look up a Spanish speaking country and illustrate your binder cover with pictures/graphics of something you can share with your classmates.  Make sure your name is on the cover.
