1/13/20: & 1/7/20: 
All: Computer Policy – > see 12/9. Your student will not be allowed on the computers starting January 2020 (upon our return) without a signed copy. Your student will need to complete all assignments at home. Thank you for your attention to this matter and to those who turned in their paperwork last year!

  • Students who were in class but did not have your Computer Policy need to turn in your warm ups ASAP (late work policies are in effect). (These students had a paper copy of the “2020 Paper” which was turned in during class.) ===> Google Classroom <===
  • If you were absent, you do not have to do the warm ups.
  • All students who did have computers, regardless of whether or not you were absent, need to do the “2020 Paper” assignment which is found in Google Classroom.(There was ample class time to complete the work.) Thank you. ===> Google Classroom <===
  • 8th Grade Parents -> see photos request from 12/9.
  • 1st-2nd: practice logging in from the sign-in screen. We’re working on pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE simultaneously. We’re also working on logging in. Practice typing: tech@stambroseschool.org. (You don’t need the password to practice this; notepad will suffice.)

  • For those of you who are missing work and for whom I granted extra time, midnight Friday is also your deadline.
  • Save the date: Dec. 7th: Bishop Ireton’s Hack BI for 8th graders; optional, for extra credit (see Google Classroom for details or click the link above to register).

  3. Type your username
  4. Type your password – look in your agenda.
    (Warm ups are not graded this week; we’re working on setting up the digital workbooks.)

6-8: Please submit any missing assignments from this week; check Google Classroom for details.

Grades K – 8: Please practice typing! This is not required but it is a critical skill for class starting in 2nd grade. If you do not have a computer or access to one, printed keyboards are sufficient for practice so your student can find the keys. At the very least, please have your 3-8th graders memorize his/her username & password.
