Mr. Dwight Hayes

Greetings!

My name is Dwight Hayes and I am the new 6th-8th grade Religion teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. I am also the PE teacher for grades 3-8.  I was born in Charleston, SC and NOVA has been my home for the better part of the past 30 years. My immediate family is local and I get to see them often. This is my second year teaching here at St. Ambrose and I have been warmly received into the family! I am a former PE teacher and coach at Trinity Christian School (Fairfax) and I enjoy reading, stationary biking, watching college football, playing catch and making trips to the Blessed Sacrament.
The Church teaches that Jesus is the Lord of human and Salvation history (GS 41); I hope my students are ready to see how God is working in all things!
