Pulling for the House – recycle pop tabs
Posted on September 26, 2019
Pop Tabs are a “friend” to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC, including the one on Gallows Road that serves Fairfax Hospital. Although they are small and easily discarded, when the entire community works together to collect them, they add up and do great things. We consider each pop tab a little piece of love. Pulling for the
House is an excellent way for members of the community to become involved with our organization. This program not only helps raise funds and awareness for the Ronald McDonald Houses, but also encourages community engagement and recycling!
POP the tab off of any can and send into school with your student. There will be a designated collection container for RMHCDC. It’s that easy to help families of seriously ill children.
The pop tabs are recycled. A check for the tabs is sent to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington DC. That money supports our programs to help ease the hardship of childhood illness on children and their families.
Your pop tabs make a difference!
