Posted on May 27, 2020
Congratulations to St. Ambrose School student William Brenningmeyer who has been named the Virginia Scholastic Challenge State Champion!
Each year, the St. Ambrose 7th and 8th graders take an online academic challenge test. This test demonstrates students’ problem-solving skills and general knowledge in many academic areas.
The national average score of this year’s competition was 52%. This year, Will, a 7th grade student, scored a 78% — the highest score in the state of Virginia! This is the second year in a row that a St. Ambrose student has been named state champion — something that testifies to the outstanding work of our teachers and students! Way to go, Will!
