Our annual gala was an amazing evening of fellowship and fundraising

Letter from the Chairs
Our “Knight Around the World” was truly an amazing evening of fellowship and fundraising for our wonderful school. We brought in just over $60,000 and came out with about $37,000 profit for our PTO to spend on school enhancements for our students. Included in that total amount was $6,500 for our “fund a need” that will go to ipads, white boards, and a laminator as well as nearly $1,000 for things for the classrooms through the Giving Tree. Thank you all for your tremendous generosity.
We had a sold out event and everyone contributed to making the evening such a fun and warm environment. Guests leisurely tasted international foods while bouncing back and forth between chatting with friends and bidding on auction items. Our entertaining Ms. B really set the tone for a fun night as our emcee and our professional auctioneer, Chris Rasmus, drove up the bidding with his fast talk. He got people so excited about the carpool pass that we sold three at $725 each!
We have so many people to thank for the great success of this event, but wanted to especially highlight the wonderful team that supported us throughout the planning. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Sharon Driscoll who managed the ticket sales, Rachel Kramer for organizing the 50/50 raffle, Cathy Seangio and Peter Cuenco for running our dessert auction, Alexis Greshock for a whole host of duties from decorations to invitations, and Ida Smith for providing support at school and with the auction.
In appreciation of your support,
Eileen Bliss, Michele Robbins, and Heather Terreri
