The PTO needs you!

It’s that time of year!  You know…the end of school year, the frantic race to find just the right teacher gifts, the scramble to schedule summer camps, and yes…time when we get that email from the PTO asking us to consider a position on the board for the next school year.

The current PTO board is making some creative changes that will make for easy work.  One being that there will now be committees of several members under each chair so that responsibilities are more manageable for each individual.  This also creates more opportunities to get to know other St. Ambrose parents and forge deeper connections within our school community.  It also allows for more fun and fellowship!

Not me, you say to yourself, I’m too busy!  Every day I look at my “to do” list and wonder how I will ever get it all done.  I can’t even think about adding something else.  Sound familiar?!

It’s understandable…we all tend to feel overwhelmed and to shy away from taking on any more responsibility. The solution? PRAYER.  Ask our good Lord to show you what is truly important and what you can let go of on your list.  What is God calling you to do right now?  What is He calling you to do at St. Ambrose School?

So, please prayerfully consider what God is calling you to do with your time and your talents at St. Ambrose in the coming school year.  There are open positions for Gala Co-Chairs, Treasurer and Social Committee Chair (as well as many other spots for all the talent this community holds) which our nomination committee is looking to fill with just the right person.  Maybe that’s YOU!
