This week’s happenings!

Dear Parents:

kindergarten boy with Easter eggsWhat a joy it is to be part of this wonderful community. Faith is evident everywhere. This week I visited Kindergarten where the students were learning about Resurrection eggs. One of the students gave a heart-warming presentation, sharing the story of each egg.  Another student had shared his presentation with his parents. Mrs. Fernandez got the following response:

“[Our son’s] resurrection egg presentation brought tears to my eyes! His knowledge of the events and his confidence giving the presentation were both incredible. We are so proud of him. Thank you for teaching these important lessons, that [he] will take with him through life, and making them appropriate for a kindergartner. You are laying a truly great religious and educational foundation. Thank you!”

As leaders of our school we are trying to introduce a few “perks” for these great students. Thankfully, Wednesday was a warm and sunny day. We enjoyed lunch, chat and a little playground fun!

As we continue with registration let me remind you that any family that refers another that registers will get a refund of their book fees. Also a reminder that Monday is spring picture day. If you wish your child to have their picture taken please have them dress in Sunday best – no dress down!

This weekend is our used uniform sale, and I hope to see many of you at the Easter Egg roll after the noon Mass on Sunday!

Have a blessed weekend.
