Turkey Trot tomorrow, November 28, and other updates
Posted on November 27, 2018
The turkey trot is almost here! Luckily the weather looks dry, if cold! Your child should wear their winter PE uniform tomorrow, plus an outer garment as it is expected to be windy. Due to the amount of standing water in the field we will hold the trot in the parking lot in front of the school. It will be held from 1:00-2:30 pm. Please note: cars will not be able to line up for carpool until the trot has ended. We hope that many of you will be able to stop by for a while. We still need helpers to count runs and hand out snacks!
Also, next Friday, December 7, we will celebrate the Memorial of St. Ambrose. We will attend Mass that day, instead of Thursday. One of the annual treats we have to mark the day, is doughnuts for the whole school – honey-dipped, of course. They will be pre-ordered, but we are looking for a volunteer to pick them up from Shoppers that morning and deliver them to the school. It will count for one hour of volunteer service! Please let me know if you can help.
And please keep our 8th graders in your prayers as they take the High School Placement Test on Thursday – and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation that night!
Our annual Fun Run is coming on Wednesday, November 28!
Get ready for fun, fitness, and fantastic prizes!
