Virtus training for volunteers September 12

It takes an army of bees to make a hive successful…………… and at St. Ambrose, it takes caring and dedicated parents like YOU to make our school and community the best it can be!
To volunteer at St. Ambrose, you must be VIRTUS certified by the Diocese of Arlington. VIRTUS is a FREE training session where diocese employees, parents, and any and all volunteers that will have contact with children receive the required training. It also includes an extensive background check.
VIRTUS training is required only ONE TIME, so attending this training will make you eligible to volunteer throughout your child’s Catholic education. Once certified, you can: attend class parties, chaperone field trips, be a room parent and volunteer at school events*. To make this process as simple as possible, we have arranged a VIRTUS training class at St. Ambrose this fall.
