Bishop’s Installation Mass

Dear Parents,

On Tuesday I was honored to attend the Installation Mass for Bishop Michael Burbidge in St. Thomas More Cathedral.  What a beautiful and up-lifting experience it was.  I was delighted to bring two 8th grade students with me to witness faith in action.  We had wonderful seats and we got to see the procession of seminarians, deacons, priest, bishops and cardinals.  On the procession out of the Cathedral, Bishop Loverde noticed JoAnna and Katie in their uniforms and stopped to shake hands with them.  How special that was!  May God bless and keep outgoing Bishop Paul Loverde and incoming Bishop Michael Burbidge.
