“Vacation at the Sea” Concert on Tuesday, June 7

Dear Parents/Guardians: 

Our “Vacation at the Sea” Music Concert is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7 at 7:00.  Please have all kids in their classrooms no later than 6:30.

For our concert, here is what I’d like the kids (of all grades) to wear —

• Pants — Shorts of appropriate length or capris, any color
• Shirts — Hawaiian shirts OR solid colored (any color) t-shirts, OR  t-shirts that have the name of a beach or a sea animal OR tie dyed shirts.  NO other lettering other than a beach name, please.  Shirts MUST have sleeves.  NO tank tops, muscle shirts or t-straps.
• Shoes — Sandals, as long as there is a strap around the back of the heel OR tennis shoes. NO FLIP FLOPS (they fly off kids’ feet and are dangerous if they are dancing).
• NO sunglasses, even if they wear them on their heads.  Can’t see their eyes if they wear them, and if they wear them on their heads, the glasses will fly off.

When in doubt, go by dress down day standards.  If they would not be allowed to wear it in school, then they cannot wear it for our concert.

This is a school event, so I expect all our students to participate.  If your child cannot be a part of this concert, please send me an email so that I’ll know they are to be excused.

The kids are working very hard and it’s going to be a FUN evening!  Thanks so much and see you on JUNE 7!
