Weekly Updates

Dear Parents:

It is nice to be back and settling back into the routine.  I had fun visiting 5th grade yesterday, and watching their performance of the story (tall tales) of John Henry.  I am constantly amazed by the amount (often hidden) talent among our students.  The students cycled in and out of the performance and it was done with finesse and humor!  child jumping and other children smiling

We also have a very supportive community.  Last weekend teen parishioner Jack Swanton led a team of workers in revitalizing our meditation garden.  As an eagle scout project, he made flower beds, power-washed the benches and statues and re-laid the brick-work.  Please stop by and take a look.  This will be a wonderful spot for springtime prayer and meditation.

With our changeable weather (!) we remind you to check temperatures and ensure that your students bring coats.  As long as the wind chill is above freezing, the students do go outside for recess.  Thank you for your attention to this.
