Bishop Burbidge coming to St. Ambrose

Dear Parents:
You may have heard that Bishop Burbidge is coming to celebrate Mass at St. Ambrose this Sunday, December 10 at the noon Mass. This is really exciting for our community! Fr. Fisher has asked that as many students as possible come to the noon Mass wearing their school uniforms. Any one who does will earn a free ice-cream next week (day to be decided). This is a wonderful opportunity for students, and their families to celebrate with our diocesan shepherd.

Tomorrow is 11:30 am dismissal and a dress-down day. A minimum donation of $1 is required, but any amount above that would be appreciated so that we can show that “Catholic Schools Care About Catholic Charities.”

Students will attend Mass on Thursday and Friday this week – Thursday for the Feast of St. Ambrose and Friday for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a Holy Day of Obligation. Please plan to join us at one or both of these.
