Martha’s Table Sandwich-Making on February 8
Posted on January 22, 2020
On Saturday, February 8th, St. Ambrose Parish will hold it’s 7th annual Martha’s Table Sandwich-Making event. We will meet for 9:00 am Mass and then head over to the school gym to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to feed our hungry and homeless neighbors of Washington, DC served by Martha’s Table.
Last month, our Weekend WorkCampers collected donations of peanut butter and jelly from generous patrons of the Shoppers Food Warehouse at the Fair City Mall. On Saturday, February 8th, we will use these donations to make 1500 PB&J sandwiches to feed the hungry. To meet this goal, we are in need of many helping hands and 200 loaves of wheat sandwich bread.
Please use our sign up genius to rsvp! And so we can be sure to have enough bread on hand for the event, please bring 2 loaves of bread per person and we will have enough.
Thanks and God bless,
Mrs. Ryan
