Summer Reading and Math

Summer reading assignments and math packets for grades 1-8 are ready on the Summer Reading and Math page.

Please  have your child pace his/her work over the summer. Finishing the entire packet in a day is not very productive!

Give your child the opportunity to choose books on his own as well. This can help keep reading interesting and inviting. Reading over the summer is important, but it should also be fun.

Audio books are a good supplement, especially during car trips. A recorded book opens up the world of adventure and gives students a boost in literacy skills.
