The end of the summer

Dear Parents,

In just a couple of short weeks we will be welcoming your children back and we are already getting everything ready for their return.  I will be speaking at all the Masses this weekend and, as usual, would love if some of our students would wear their school uniforms to Mass.  Please encourage your child/ren to pull out their uniforms a week early!  They will be recognized at each Mass.

Don’t forget, this Sunday is also our Used Uniform Sale.  Thanks to Mrs. Kelty and Mrs. Hecton for running this.  Be sure to stop by for some real bargains!  The sale will run from 11:00am until 1:00pm.

St. Ambrose School offers many opportunities to participate in CYO sports.  Our tennis coach, Mr. Bruce Campbell, is off to an early start.  Please see the following flier regarding our tennis program.  Who knows, we could produce the next Roger Federer or Serena Williams!   Fall Tennis Flier

And now for the last of our teacher vacation pictures.

Mrs. Rowley near the Space needleAnd I got to go to Seattle with my family for a long weekend, visited the Space needle, and lots of Starbucks stores!

And now all are rested, vacationed and ready for action.  The teachers will be back next week for a series of meetings and classroom preparations.  We will see you at the ice cream social!

Sincerely,
