Update from Mrs. Dalmut, Feb. 24: Middle School Info Night, Re-registration, Yard Sale, Lenten Retreat

Dear Parents,

Please join us for the Middle School Information Night tonight at 7:00 in the Gym. You will meet our teachers and learn about our program and policies. I look forward to seeing you tonight! Bring friends if they are thinking about applying to our school. It pays to be well-informed. We can see from our work product — our confident, well-rounded graduates — that our system is working! Children are definitely welcome.

Re-registration deadline is March 1. Please send in your re-registration as soon as possible. We can save your child’s place in the class. Believe it or not, we are anticipating waiting lists in 3 grades. The word is out — where else can you find these teacher-to-student ratios, teaching assistants in the classroom, and individual attention for your children at this price? All roads lead to St. Ambrose!

Saturday will be a busy day at St. Ambrose. The Yard Sale was interrupted by snow last weekend, so they will be having Yard Sale Part 2 on Saturday from 7am – 12noon. Be sure to stop in. There are plenty of treasures left to purchase — at great prices!

The Women of St. Ambrose have graciously moved their Lenten Retreat to our school Gym — thanks to the Boy Scouts who postponed their event. What a community!

The Women’s Lenten Retreat is still on this Saturday, immediately following the 9am Mass. The location has changed to our school cafeteria because of the Yard Sale Part 2.

Sr. Clare Hunter is a well known, dynamic speaker and is sure to make your investment of time very spiritually meaningful. Invite a friend. There is no cost or need for reservations. Refreshments and lunch are included. Please set this time aside for you!

The Gala is right around the corner — get your tickets now!

God bless,

Barbara Dalmut
